The Sail Panel Is Designed To Slow The Car Down, Much Like A Big Block Increases Weight Or A Wider Tire Increases Friction.

i raced with sails on a lot and did a lot of research they don't slow the car they work like a low sprint wing if build right they make lots on side bite u can enter the corner faster.they can b a lil tricky to drive in traffic if the guy next to you has them on too it kinda takes the air off your car for a min

Sail panels are used so when a competitor pulls into the pits he can figure out how many cars he will have to compete against. Without the sail panels you couldn't tell the sportsman from the Modifieds so for us it's very helpful. Now it they made Open Sportsman or 358 Mod's glue a beach ball on top we'd all be in the know!

Yes they are. Butttt..... the cars become very tight with them so you've gotta compensate for it.

Is it possible to have a Sale Panel on a Sail Panel?

If so, how does this affect set up and handling?  Thanks.

Sail panels increase side bite and add more down force because it directs more concentrated air on the rear spoiler...  out side of that.. MAN THEY LOOK REALLY COOOL.!!
