**CHEMUNG SPEEDROME RULES UPDATE – SUNOCO Modified division**

Effective Immediately.

Non-quick change rears are now allowed in the NASCAR SUNOCO Modified division at Chemung Speedrome.
The weight for cars equipped with non-quick change rears will be 2625 pounds.

What is the advantage or disadvantage of a non-Quick Change rear end in a Modified? 

Are the non-Quick Change rears a ratchet or limited slip differential?  Ford 9 inch or aftermarkets?

Are the Quick Change cars required to be 2650 pounds?

The non-qc rears are lighter, and without the spur gear housing on the back side, teams can locate the fuel cell further forward for better weight distribution.  They are the same basic design as a quick change, just without the spur gears and associated features.
