Can anyone help, I'm building a FWD 4cyl to run at Chemung and have heard different opinions about Locking the Differential. Should it be locked or not.?? Have the tranny and motor out right now so this would be the time to get it right the first time!! And info would be very much appreciated, Thx.

I Wouldn't Think Locking The Front Differential Would Be A Benefit On A FWD Car, Its Not Like Your Blowing The Wheels Off It Coming Off The Corner. If Anything It Would Hurt If The Stagger Is Not Correct.

On hardtop don't bother, locking it will actually make the car plow on corner exit.
