Sixt Lumber Night and Automotive Swap Meet Highlight Freedom Motorsports Park Weekend

Delevan, NY- The season kicks into high gear at Freedom Motorsports Park this weekend on Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18. On Friday, it will be Sixth Lumber night featuring the Wilson Crane Service RUSH Late Models, Tidds Towing Sportsman Modifieds, Pioneer Ford Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks in action. On Saturday, the can’t miss second annual Freedom Automotive Swap meet takes place.

Sixt Lumber is the place to go for all of your lumber and building material needs. With two locations, 13990 East Schutt Road in Chaffee and 619 Rock City Road in Little Valley, they give new meaning to the words “Family Business” and provide their customers with top quality service with a personal touch.  Their fleet of trucks delivers special orders and building material products directly to jobsites, so there's no need to interrupt work crews and lose time by making unnecessary trips to the lumberyard.  For all of your lumber and building supplies, you can reach Sixt Lumber in Chaffee at 716-492-2390 and in Little Valley at 716-938-6521.

The Second Annual Automotive Swap Meet will open at 7:00 am on Saturday. You’ll find racecar, automotive, street rod and motorcycle parts for sale. Vendor tables are available for as little as ten dollars. The track’s concession stand will be open. The Marble Springs Motocross teams will be practicing for their big race on Sunday so there will be customers already on the grounds.

So far this year, there have been no repeat winners in the Wilson Crane Service RUSH Late Models. Adam Sixt of Chafee, Randy Hall of Olean, Jeremy Wonderling of Scio and Andy Boozel of Clymer have captured wins but it has been the consistent Brad Mesler of Wellsville who leads the point standings.

In the Tidds Towing Sportsman Modifieds, you have to be from either Warsaw or Canada to sit in victory lane as Ray Bliss leads the way with three tally’s while point leader Brad Rouse and Cody McPherson have taken down one victory a piece.

The only repeat winner in the Pioneer Ford Street Stocks has been point leader Steve Sklar of Hinsdale who has taken two trophies. Single victories have gone to Al Brewer of Belfast, Butch Zimmerman of Burt and Levi Watson of Franklinville.

The Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks feature the most winners as five drivers have taken the checkered flag. They are led by point leader Brad Shepard of Leroy with three wins, Dante Mancuso of Batavia with two and Holden Heineman of Sardinia, Duane Powers of Belfast and Billy Dubois of Pavilion with one victory each.

Come out this Friday and enjoy the exciting racing action on the “Thrill on the Hill” as the best drivers from New York, Pennsylvania and even Canada battle it out on the area’s fastest 1/3 mile clay oval. Then make a weekend of it at the Saturday Swap Meet.
