Racing Discussion / NY Army National Guard night at Genesee Speedway!

I am pleased to announce the first NY Army National Guard Night at Genesee Speedway on Memorial Weekend May 28th. It will be a $1,000 to win RUSH Crate Late Models sponsored by the Hornell's Enlisted Club and also $500 to win Gene DeWitt Memorial Street Stocks (Pres. by BWS Bar & Grill) + 5 Star Program. We are still in planning stages but we plan on have military vehicles and other activities for the kids to come check out.

We will also be doing sponsored laps and will be making a board for sponsors. more to come on that as we go.

The Hornell Enlisted club is created by soldiers for soldiers and their local communities. They do events such as parades and other community events, setting wreaths for falling soldiers and memorial day. Helping local soldiers and their families with unexpected personal issues.

we really hope we have a good turn out so come out and support your local heroes

Wanted to just remind the racers I am hosting a event on the 25th of April for the children of our community. I am looking for racers to come and show off there cars. I will also have Sherriff k-9 doing a demonstration as well as the fire fighters, local pd and a r/c airplane show so bring the kids. It is from 12-5 in batavia on bank street across from the soccer fields. If interested please call, text or pm

Racing Discussion / April 4th car show for the kids

I'm hosting a event April 4th to raise money for kids in the batavia community and surrounding area. I have some things planned such as a rc jet plane show, state trooper roll over vehicle, hopefully sheriffs with the k-9 doing something. I have the Boy Scouts doing events and in contact with air national guard to have a helicopter to come and land for the kids to see.

I'm also having a car show and would really like to see not only classic cars but race cars too. It's gonna be a really fun day and open to the public and all for the kids. It will be April 4 at 12 in batavia. If interested let me know.

ok people lots of negative and positive posting on the past couple of weeks. I am done with it. I have talked to Annette. she wants to run a street stock race but the purse is the issue. I want to help and I know a lot of people want to also. lets raise the money!! 55 lap to win. I am not a street stock racer nor will I probably be able to show up. but I am donating money and setting it up.

I will be honest on how much money we get together and lets call it the Drivers Race. I will be coordinating all funds and payout

I will set it up so right now top 15 cars get payout. if we raise more I will open it up for more spot. Your pit money will go into the pay out. So the more people you bring the more money we can put into the purse.  I will not post a scale because it will always be changing.

I will do my best to raise enough money to do a 1200 payout and will post how much I do raise in the next two weeks. talk to you sponsors, businesses, anyone who wants to see this happen.

farmer is my name 585-944-9022 is my cell and and I am always available for questions. LETS GET THIS TO HAPPEN.

WHOS IN? please if you not interested then do not post negative stuff. I am just looking for people who want to race and see this happen.

Racing Discussion / Fwd vs rwd

Ok so this is just a curiosity question. What do people think about fwd and rwd( mustangs) running together or separate. I don't care about other classes I just want to know other peoples opinion without calling out individual racers. The classes themselves.

being a fwd racer I love the competition between fwd and rwd. I've seen stateline looks like they run a complete fwd class and a lot shows up then I see woodhull runs two different classes but I am not sure how many cars they have show up. Raceway5 runs them together and we have 20 plus every week which makes a great show.

So what's the best option? One thing I know is fwds are not going away. There is endless junk yards with parts.fwd Engine stock are faster then built mustangs.

Ok so let's see what people think remember just opinions.
