Mooresville, NC (July 11, 2013) - Making his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this weekend, 22-year-old NASCAR Whelen Modified standout Ryan Preece will be behind the wheel of the No. 8 Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing and TeamSLR at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
On board the No. 8 Chevy this weekend is East West Marine, a longtime sponsor of Preece. East West Marine is a supplier of marine lumber and timber, vinyl seawall, composite sheet pilings, and many varieties of seawall accessories.
Heading into this weekend's race, Preece has kept busy racing across the New England area. He is leading the points in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series, as well as at Stafford Motor Speedway. In just a short time, Ryan has multiple wins, and countless pole awards to add to his expanding resume. This weekend Preece is looking to make a memorable debut during Saturday's CNBC Prime the Profit 200.
Media Q&A: Friday afternoon following the final Nationwide practice Ryan Preece will host a media interview session at the No. 8 hauler. The media session is scheduled to begin at 3:15 pm.
