Are there any teams in the area that are planning to go get some laps in and hopefully some wins.

hollandracer there still some of us trying to bring back the division to where it should be. it wont happen overnight. if you love late models so much buy 1 and join us instead of bashing. as far as going down to florida and racing its just not financially affordable .

I have been hearing this forever even before the LAMOT days. LAMOT had a good thing going but a few drivers decided to let their cars become lawn decorations (not saying you) instead of stepping up and saying it is for the better of the division.   How many rookies do you have? The lifeline of the division is gone no new Young drivers moving in just the same drivers another year older with multiple cars, using their backups as field fillers.  Whoever is in charge needs to figure it out how to get the youth back in the class!

(4)ROC LM at Lancaster   (2) at Lake Erie  (1) at Jakasa $25000. To win (1) Evergreen speedway $3500. To win (1) at jennerstown $6000. To win. (2) roc tba. So latemodels ARE on a big return.

Hoping to see a lot of cars at the evergreen and jtown races. Not only nice payouts but the bonus for top  overall Car from crooks and I’m sure there will be other bonuses should help get some guys to run both shows. Also hoping to see the Florida pre entry list grow.

If Oswego ran them, I would have one. But for whatever reason they are content with the super expensive class and the expensive class. Nothing for beginners to get involved on the asphalt. hmmm cant imagine why fan and driver attendance has dropped off at that track. I'm sorry but go karts on a bullring does not translate over to people stepping up to a car on the big track. Not even close.

Other than that it doesn't make sense for me to buy a late model and drive 2+ hours to the closest track. Besides the IMCA modified, Asphalt Late Models are one of my favorite kinds of racecars.

That was great news the PLM and SLM are gonna need to add 15-20 more each to may a good show but I’m thinking that after the weekend others will be one the list. 16 mods is pretty good. For a pre entry list
