I just don't get why you are so p!ssed off about that, Goggles. You have been beating that dead horse since the day you found out about the grant for the track after the New York State government stuck it directly in our poop chutes on the Fairgrounds. Do you honestly think they should just p!ss away the millions of dollars they make on Dirt Week every year? Maybe we tax-paying race fans should just lay down and take being screwed. Which would you like more?

Jesus.  Glenn must be getting all the school tax money too.

To go completely off topic, I'm asking you if you have done your due diligence and researched the funding behind CNYRP, Goggles? Or do you just want to keep your thongs in a knot because Glenn received a $250,000 grant from a state beautification fund? Not once have you bellyached about the MILLIONS of dollars being spent on a facility "upgrade" to the Fairgrounds to benefit equestrian and winter sports events. While the City of Syracuse needs a complete water re-pipe, and Mayor Minor was denied funding because she voted against the Governor and Joanie Mahoney's "progress" at the Fairgrounds.

You also haven't bellyached about the money being designated for a "challenge" to airports to see who has the better facility (essentially), or this new one I saw yesterday about designating money for prison inmates to receive a college education. I have not seen you complain about the State funding the Lago Casino project in Tyre, either, but you can certainly take shots at a facility being built to BENEFIT we race fans, and you have not said anything about the gigantic middle finger state officials threw up Saturday when they laughed and joked, and Mahoney asked the Governor if he wanted to kiss her for fast-tracking the destruction of 101 plus years of motorsports history.

To me, any argument you put up about the measly $250,000 Glenn Donnelly and the CNYRP project recieved from the panhandling b@st@rd in Albany is invalid.

The state under no circumstances should be financing new water pipes for the city of Syracuse. Its not the states fault, nor is it the tax payers across the state fault that the city of Syracuse has mis managed their money for years and cannot afford to fix their infrastructure. Maybe if they did not give Mr Congel and his mall so many tax breaks for eternity they would have the extra cash to spend on fixing them pipes.

as for the demolition at the fairgrounds, that's been long over due. Its not the states fault there wasn't more races there. It was the promoters, drivers and sanctions fault for not having more races there. Cannot blame them one bit for wanting to get rid of something that generates income for 5 days out of the year for something that will generate income year round.

People need to get the F over it. Its done, move on. Dwelling and being angry at the past does not help make the future a better place.

I get progress, Andy. And I am smart enough to realize that we were doomed from the beginning as far as the Fairgrounds go. The points I brought up were strictly to remind Goggles that he's beating a dead horse.
