DUNDEE, N.Y. - For Immediate Release - April 23rd, 2015

Superior Crushing, LLC owned by veteran dirt modified driver Tyler Siri prepares to help Black Rock Speedway usher in a new era which will see the full time return of the dirt modifieds for the first time since 2008.  One of the largest crushing companies in New York was just one of many local sponsors to come onboard in support of bringing Black Rock Speedway back to prominence in 2015.

Siri was an early supporter of Mike Jackson and Sue Foster’s vision for the speedway and their commitment to bringing the Modifieds back to the fast four-tenths-mile in Dundee, NY.  Even during the initial meeting between the promoters and drivers, Siri was vocal about how to blend the Small Blocks and Big Blocks to create fair competition and put on a great show for the fans.

The owner of the Southern Tier-based rock crushing business knows a thing or two about putting on a great show in a Modified.  2014 saw Siri compete at the speedway for Modified specials and contend for the win and a Top 5 finish in each of them.

Siri Racing made a big splash over the winter with the announcement that they have added Stewart Friesen to their stable in a brand new Teo chassis for the Super DIRTcar Series schedule.  Siri and Friesen will both compete full-time on the series while Friesen continues his regular weekly race program and part-time winged sprint car schedule with Doug Emery’s 33 car.

Friesen was announced as being scheduled to come to Black Rock Speedway for opening night however a date conflict was discovered with an Empire Super Sprint event at Can-Am Motorsports Park on the same night.  With Can-Am now cancelled due to wet grounds, the opportunity for Friesen to make a rare appearance at the Dundee, NY oval has resurfaced.

Siri indicated on Thursday on the Siri Racing facebook page that he and Friesen will both be in competition Friday night.  Opening Night will give both drivers an opportunity to shake their Super DIRTcar Series rides down the night before the SDS opener at Fulton Speedway Saturdaynight.

Jordan Siri will also make his Black Rock debut for 2015 as he will compete in the Crate Sportsman division.  Could Friday night turn into a Superior Crushing sweep?  Come out to Black Rock Speedway Friday night to find out!

The drama and excitement doesn’t stop there as the Modifieds will be joined by a stout field of Crate Sportsman competitors, $500 to win Street Stocks, M&M Auto Sales and Service IMCA Modifieds, NAPA Know How 4 Cylinders and Creekside Entertainment Bandits.  Weekly Friday night racing kicks off at 7PM.
