ULMS Super Late Models Invade Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday May 25

Delevan, NY- The excitement, speed and thunder of the ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models make their first of four visits to Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday May 25. The Super Late Models will race in the fourth annual Ron Baker Memorial.  The 30 lap $2500 to win event is brought to you by Bob McKerrow & Sons RV. Joining the Super Late Models will be the Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman, Cummings Trucking Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks.

The current Super Late Model record is 13.924, set by Max Blair on August 18, 2018.

The ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models at Freedom will feature the best drivers from New York and Pennsylvania in action. A new name for the New York contingent is ULMS point leader Mike Maresca of Potsdam. Mike drove Modifieds in the past and has been very fast since he started racing a Super Late Model. He will be joined by local Franklinville favorite Greg Oakes (fourth in ULMS points), Chris Hackett of Jamestown, Mike Wonderling of Wellsville and multi-time Freedom champion Al Brewer of Belfast.

The Pennsylvania racers will be led by two-time 2017 Freedom Super Late Model winner Max Blair out of Centerville.  Blair is currently second in ULMS points. Also representing the Keystone State will be Doug Eck (third in ULMS points) of Cory, Chad Wright of Springboro and Rookie of the Year candidate Garrett Mott of Smethport.

The Murphy’s Logging ULMS Super Late Models will also be in action at Freedom in the Yorkshire Battery Pete Loretto Memorial on July 13, the Murphy’s Logging Special on August 10 and the Mike Duke Duclan Memorial on September 15.

Come out and experience the special “Thrill on the Hill” excitement that the ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models produce at the area’s fastest racetrack. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30 pm on Friday May 25.  Adult admission for this special event is $17, seniors are $15, students (9-15) are $8 and kids under 8 are admitted free.
