OSWEGO, NY – Speedway Safety Solutions is proud to announce the 2019 Track Safety Conference to be held on Saturday, March 30 inside the Oswego County Emergency Response Training Center in Oswego, NY.

The Track Safety Conference will consist of four classroom sessions with industry professionals and will conclude with a roundtable discussion featuring all four panelists.

Conference sign-in will begin at 8 a.m. with the first session slated to begin at 9 a.m. The day’s activities are scheduled to close by 5 p.m.

Featured panelists include Oswego Speedway Safety Director, Paul Conzone, veteran Safety Instructor, Andy Biron, New Jersey State Police Motorsports Board member, Warren Alston, and Speedway Safety Solutions founder, Mark Kapuscinski.

Conzone, who brings years of safety team experience to the table, will cover team leadership and management skills, discussing organizational items that could help improve any track safety team.

Biron, a seasoned track professional with experience in various types of motorsports, will present a session entitled, “Defeat the Seat.” This session will focus on how to properly and efficiently remove a driver from the racing seats of today, teaching all you need to know about racing seats and driver extrication.

Alston, who has worked events for Georgetown Speedway, the Short Track Super Series and the Indoor Auto Racing Championship, will provide a session on motorsports safety standards.
