Other differences are the small block supers are based off an IMCA modified chassis, and the 350 supers run wings.

When we hit stage 4. End of the month at the earliest. And that depends on region.

I am making the drive down from northern New York watch the modifieds on Saturday. Was wondering about the racing surface since they have been hosting the DIRT races there instead of Syracuse.  Did it have a negative impact on the racing for the asphalt mods?
If anything, the track condition is more affected by the fact that it hasn't been paved since 1970. The dirt hasn't affected it at all, and the racing has been pretty good this year. So I've heard from those in the know.

Racing Discussion / Re: New York State Fair

It wont seem strange for me as I told the people I was with leaving the grandstands at the last race there that I have no plans of ever setting foot on that place again. I can not understand why race people still support that place.
Because local businesses livelihood still depends on the fairgrounds, and I'm not a selfish human being. If every race fan in the state avoided the fairgrounds, it would make ZERO impact. That said, I haven't been to the actual fair since 1992, and I live a 4 minute drive away.

It's more than strange when you get there. I went to the Nationals and it's really hard to even orient yourself without the track as a landmark. I was one who never cared for the actual racing on the mile (although the atmosphere there was like nothing else), but it's sad not having it there.

Just saw some pictures of RWR,how sad to see the condition of a once great track. Should have been the new home of Super Dirt Week instead of Oswego. Hope it can still be saved.
In 100 years it still wouldn't be suitable for SDW. Not near enough parking, camping or seating. And IF the current owners got SDW somehow, I still wouldn't step foot on the property.

I honestly don't understand why no one wants to run there. The pay is up there with any track, the track conditions are always good, it's very fan/family friendly.

I haven't had a certificate warnings. Using Windows 10 and tried on all my browsers (Edge, Chrome , Firefox, Opera). Are you sure it isn't you're anti virus software?

Here's the error message I get from Chrome:

This server could not prove that it is www.raceny.com; its security certificate expired 3 days ago. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection. Your computer's clock is currently set to Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Does that look right? If not, you should correct your system's clock and then refresh this page.

That's a normal warning for an expired certificate. I've had them before on various sites, including DTD. It's odd that I didn't get any from this site.
