Chemung Speedrome will kick off the 2014 season on Sunday May 4th. The Race of Champions Modified Tour will be on hand for their opening show of the season as well. Chemung is strong and ready to have the best season ever on the 3/8 mile asphalt. A full 19 week season, 2 Big Ten Super Stock shows, 2 ROC Modified shows, one on opening day and the second ROC show the Saturday Night before the Sprint Cup Race at Watkins Glen in August. Some changes at the track this season will also make for a better season for Fans, Drivers and Crews. A great field of cars, 6 divisions of great racing weekly. The tracks food will be second to none this season as Zacks Grill returns for a second season and will provide great food and beverage for all. Make plans to be there opening day, Sunday May 4th, 75 laps of ROC modified action. Camping always available, There will be open practice on Saturday May 3rd as well.
