The "Pride of Starrucca" was a multi-time feature winner and Track Champion in the Southern Tier. He is aptly remembered for his #10 1937 Ford Model A Coupe which saw action from 1964 to 1984, an unbelievable span of twenty years.

In April of 1991, Dad was diagnosed with breast cancer. His dedication to racing lead him back into his race car with 120 staples in his chest only three weeks after having surgury at Afton Raceway in Afton NY.

Dad last ran his #10 Modified in July 2000 at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Center Lisle, NY, where he ended is open wheel endeavors and retired from racing. In 2001, he became my crew chief for the #110 Pro Stock.

With 50 years of racing under his belt, Dad lost an 11-year battle with cancer 5 years ago today.

Dad was "A true gentleman, with a heart of gold.
Rest in peace, Dad, you are forever loved and missed".
